8 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!!!

HAPPY 8 MONTHS OLD TODAY BIG BOY!! YOU WERE BORN EXACTLY AT 2:03PM THIS AFTERNOON WITH YOUR DADDY AND GMA DOT IN THE ROOM ANXIOUSLY WAITING YOUR ARRIVAL. WHEN YOU WERE DELIVERED YOU WERE THE MOST HANDSOME BOY EVER.YOUR SUCH A JOY TO HAVE!!! YOU WERE A BIG BOY. YOU WEIGHED IN AT 8LBS AND 6OZ, AND YOU WERE 20.5 INCH LONG. I CAN'T EVEN SAY HOW MUCH YOU WEIGH NOW, ALTHOUGH I HAVE THIS STRANGE IDEA THAT YOU HAVE TRIPLED YOUR BIRTH WEIGHT, WHICH IS JUST FINE WITH ME. I WILL KEEP YOU AND LOVE ON YOU AND SQUEEZE YOU HOWEVER YOU WANT TO BE. YOU UNDENIABLY LIGHT UP THE ROOM WITH YOUR GORGEOUS BROWN EYES AND BIG SMILES, AND YOUR INFECTIOUS GIGGLES. I LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU SMILE AND GIGGLE ALONG WITH ME WHEN WERE PLAYING TOGETHER AND MOMMY HAS TO MAKE SOME PRETTY DORKY SOUNDS OR EXPRESSIONS...AND YOU ACT LIKE YOU'VE BEEN COMPLETELY UNDONE BY MY CLEVERNESS. YES YOUR MOM IS ALSO A LITTLE PHOTO-OBSESSED, SO LOCK THE DOOR WHEN YOU BEGIN POTTY-TRAINING. OTHERWISE, ITS SAY CHEESE AND THEN YOU'RE STUCK WITH THAT MEMORY FOR LIFE, AND YOU CAN BET IT WILL SURFACE THE DAY YOU GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL. WATCHING YOU GROW HAS BEEN THE DELIGHT OF MY LIFE. I LOOK AT YOU AND WONDER WHAT DREAMS YOU WILL DREAM, WHAT MOUNTAINS YOU WILL CLIMB, WHAT JOYS YOU WILL HAVE. I KNOW THERE WILL BE TEARS AND STRUGGLES AS WELL, BUT MY PRAYER IS THAT YOU WILL GROW INTO THE MAN YOU ARE MEANT TO BE. ME AND YOUR DADDY LOOVE YOU VERY MUCH AND LOOK FORWARD TO EVERY DAY WITH YOU. FOREVER!

Little boy...

I just love how carson sleeps. He looks so relaxed, and comfortable..and peaceful. He looks all tuckered out from long hours of playing. He looks like a little grown man with his hands up above like that. The second picture he hadn't quite finished his bottle he fell asleep drinking. His mom has fallen asleep while eating too many times when she was his age, there are pictures to proove it.

Sink Bath and water puddles

Probably not the best idea in the world but I knew that he might be too big for the sink to sprawl out, so I knew that he wouldn't go anywhere. He had fun making splashes with his hands which made momma clean up big wet messes all over the counter and floor. We were both laughing. It was a lot of fun. I had to get a couple pictures of him in the sink, cause he looks soo big in it. The reason for the quick bath in the kitchen sink was because I gave him a teething biscuit and there always such a mess, so he had it all over his face and stuff. You can tell he enjoyed himself.

Catching some sunshine

We were just hanging outside and he was sitting on my lap looking off in to the grass and the trees blowing from the light breeze. Of course I had the camera in hand as I always do, and most of these angles looks like he has 1 ear again.

I see a (partly) naked boy..

Carson looves to be naked. Thats all I need to say. After he gets his bath I start to lather him in some lotion, and he's turning all around and trying to get away from me. You can see that he's got his momma's thick legs and thighs. And he definitely has his daddy's skin tone. Thankfully. That means he won't be pasty white.

Another day in carson paradise.

Sweet little boy named Carson...

Last night, carson was being soo sweet to me. When we were laying down in bed, he was laying in the middle of us, and I was facing away from the tv trying to go to sleep and out of the blue, carson rolled over to my side and put his arms on my waist like he was snuggling w/ me. Well he really was ya know. He had his legs curled, and it was soo sweet to feel him snuggling with me. Everyonce and awhile I would take my hand and rub his little hand on my waist and that would wake him up but he never moved, he stayed right where he was, till I had to put him in his bed. But before putting him into bed, I rolled over to face him and I wrapped my arms around his little waist and then we both fell to sleep. Face to face. :)
