Lake Lowell--BBQ

We have gone already before, and I still have yet to post those pictures. I will do it very soon. Carson and I are going again tomorrow--July 23, 2011. It's so much fun to sit in a chair under the hot sun and bake. HAHAH! I know carson loves putting his toes in the water, thats about as far as he will get. :) So were going to take out lunch in a small ice chest, and take some towels, and fun water toys, and hit the Lake for awhile. Carson got my camera last time, and actually took some great photos, so I suppose he will want to do that again. He is a great photographer. Lots of pictures of the gound, water, and even our feet. Love him.

"Watch Out Mommy, I am not a baby"

I dont know to laugh or to cry over this.  This happened this morning, when I was trying to dress him for daycare and I accidentally elbowed him on his cute little forehead...so he almost yells out "WATCH OUT", and he has said that before, but it was just so much more funnier this time cause it was him telling me versus the other way around which is DEFINITELY way more common. So after that, I felt so bad, and felt so sorry, I picked him up and cradled him like a baby, and just kissed him probably 500x or more all over his face and forehead, and was sorta swaying him back and forth---just like mommy's do w/ their newborns, and then out of nowhere Carson says " Mommy, I am not a baby"... and right then and there, I just wanted to cry my sad little eyes out. He will always be my baby, but he is definitely growing into this young little person, a little man, and he wont ever be that small again, but he will always be my little honey, my little baby!

4th of July with the Sorenson's...

Well we were pretty tired from just having driven 100miles from Camping back to home. We wanted to watch some fireworks tho, so we jetted over to Middleton and hung out w/ Kason, Krystal, Stella, and Todd. Todd made some pretty tasty Hot Dogs, and the kids played, and Krystal and I talked a lot---mostly about High School---which krystal remembers nothing about. :) Stella just slept most the time. Kason and Carson played a lot! They played in the pool again and slip and slide, and they had so much fun laughing and gigglying. I just love the way Carson laughs and runs at the same time. I took a lot of pictures. Todd lit some sparklers and the boys were waving them around in the air. The fireworks were pretty cool too. :) Kason spent most of the time hiding under the table. Carson wouldnt stop talking during the firework show. :) All in all, it was a great holiday spent w/ friends. Have so many pics to upload.

Lost Lake Reservoir Camping

Lost Lake Reservoir Camping

WOW!!! This weekend was just much better than expected. I always have fun camping, but this was Carson's first time, and he didn't want to leave. It started on Friday 07/01/11. After I got off work, and I picked Carson up, we headed straight to Papa Wad-dey's house. It was so exciting all day at work, it just couldn't come any faster. We got to papa's house about 630pm, and we packed a few things, and hung out, watched a movie, went to bed about 1130pm. Carson and I slept in Papa's bed, and papa slept in the camper. I woke up first at about 545, so I went and knocked on the camper door to make sure Dad was getting up. He was already awake and dressed. :)

I let Carson sleep till about 715am ish, and then made him some cereal and toast, and then we left Payette at about 800am---right on Schedule. We got to Lost Lake about 1030-1100 I think. It's not to far away from Weiser. It's only about 80miles from Payette.

It was packed, every campsite was taken. So we found a little spot, it was in the sun, which didn't bother me or Carson all that much. We did lots of running around, did some boating. Carson caught lots of Perch. There was so many of them that it was impossible to catch a Trout, cause all the perch would get to the bait before anything else could. Owell, it was fun anyway, Carson sat on my lap and held on to the pole, and I helped him reel all of them in. We got so many pictures.

We drove the 4 wheeler all around the Lake. It was so pretty. My dad allowed Carson to control how fast we went while he held on to the handle bars. Carson pushed the gas throttle all the way back, he liked going fast I guess. I kept taking his arm off so we could slow down a little bit----he was making me nervous in the back seat. :)

Carson sure had a good time. We had good meals for Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Monday morning came, and it was soon time to go home. The plan was to head out after breakfast, but we saw a lot of other campers leaving, and we wanted to see if we could get a bigger spot so there would be lots of room for when everyone else comes up this next weekend. We found one just a couple spots from where we were, so we loaded things up and I took the car and boat trailer down there to "reserve" it, so nobody that was "in-coming" could steal it from us. :)

We had lunch and kicked back, drove around on the 4 wheeler some more, I let Carson drive.

I forgot to mention that "Buddy" our dog, took off on Sat Night around 7-8pm, and he didnt come back till around midnight or little after that. He must have been chasing something, he darted right past us and I tried to get infront of him and stop him, but then he growled at me, he doesn't normally. I'm sure he enjoyed his little bit of freedom. :)

Well its back to work this week---4 days, then another weekend. We had so much fun this past weekend, so Carson and I are going to go up again and leave after work on Friday--we will probably get there a little later around 9pm, but I think its still a little light outside.

Pictures to come after this next weekend....
