It's like fast forwarding thru karate!

Carson has mastered the high kick. Karate style. Its so funny to see this. I don't have to worry about not catching it, cause he's always doing it, especially when he has no pants on. I find it more amusing everytime I watch him. Both video's are nearly the same except for the first one he adds in a grande finale type close. Trust me, you will be able to tell what he does. :) Here are a couple 20 second videos of his amazing talent that were taken tonight.

Bro's for life!

Saying daa daa...

We dont' really know for sure if he means to say daa daa, but there's really no other way to get it wrong, so..maybe?? He says it all the time. Of course, I wanted him to learn ma ma first, but I figured I get to be home with him during the day when his dad doesn't get to be. So that makes it worth it to wait till he learns how to say ma ma.

Lately, when carson is on the floor and he's starting to fuss, he reminds me of a toddler, he buries his head in the floor, covering his eyes with both hands and crys to make you feel bad that you have to go get him and and pick him up to love on him. It's pretty darn funny.

Also, with the baby food adventures, carson likes to (as most babies do) like to blow rasberrie kisses as he's sloshing the food around in his mouth, so that it just splatters all over himself, and mom too!! Its' fun I suppose to get a little involved in the mess with carcar.

Here are some pictures from over the weekend...

Bounce baby bounce...

I got this for my baby yesterday. He loooves it so much. Theres little toys on each side, and he just doesn't know what he wants to play with first. It definitely keeps him entertained. It swivels all the way around, and the bottom part is adjustable, so as he gets taller, we can lower it but for now, he is really enjoying being able to bounce up and down.

It's called OPTD

Obsessive Picture Taking disorder. As a new mommy, I can't help but want to take pictures of carson every day, I just can't stop taking pictures of carson, a lot of the ones I take, are the same. The same silly expressions I've seen before, but they just keep getting better and better, and I feel like I need to have just one more of em. Or 10 or 20. It doesn't matter how many. I just want to make sure I capture everything, so that when he gets older he will definitely have tons of baby pictures to have. He's barely turned 6 months old , and i already have close to 400 pictures..for reals..about that many. I might be a little crazy w/ the camera but its fun, and he smiles all the time, so why not.
Also, its been such a struggle to feed carson as well. Suddenly the world is way more interesting than his bottle, and he'd rather gawk at everything in sight than focus on drinking. I swear his head can swivel 180 degrees. Carson is the sweetest little guy, and he's doing amazing at turning into mommy's boy. He's a snuggler. He knows it when mommys got him, cause she never wants to leave his face alone, kiss kiss kiss..here and there and everywhere..i'm sure he gets annoyed at times, but I dont and thats why it will continue!!!!!
Whats up G?

I've heard that somewhere...

Isn't it funny as new parents, you start remembering things that your parents did when you were a child, or the different things they told you, or what they said to you during punishment, and as much as you try and hide it you can't deny it! As a new mom, I'm constantly remembered by that. I frequently become aware of the things that my dad did or said to me, and I say them to carson now. I catch myself every time, and just go "wow". Of course I wouldn't let my dad know that it happens to me as much as it does, I don't want him to get too excited. :)

6 Month Checkup

So I don't even know where to start. We had his 6mos appt today, and I went in there already knowing how big he would be, cause he's so stinkin heavy to carry around now, so when Doctor Papiez told me he weighed 20lbs and 12 ounces, I was like yea well what else is new. Well he's also 28'' inches long as well. So technically he's only grown 2 inches from his last appt in February. BUT he's gained oh ya know about 4lbs. He weighed only 16lbs in February. I'm sure he will thin out once he gets walkin and movin around, and if not then he can just continue being my little michelin butterball with an infectious laugh. The doctor said everything else looked great, and to introduce a one new food every couple days. Here is a picture while we were waiting in the sea room for his shots. His shots. He normally does real well during them, hardly any flintching. But I guess now that he's older he starts to figure things out, and knows they can sometimes hurt. So he let out the biggest and loudest and most saddest cry. I felt helpless cause I had to kinda be in on it, I had the worst job of having to hold him down across my legs. Well his next appt won't be till around 9-10mos, and shots when he turns 1 so we have a little ways before then.

This crap is bananas...

So carson is still getting a majority of his food from a bottle. He can't quite hold himself up un-supported yet, and he hasn't completely lost the tongue-reflex either. We have put some of his formula on a spoon for him, and he doesn't really reject the spoon, but I dont' think were 100% there yet as far as baby food goes. But he has tried a little bit of pears now and we've given him a lil bit of some banana's, and just like everyone says and all the books say, the first time, they will be confused and not know, and it will most likely come running out of there mouths, and that is true. It's the cutest and most sadest little frowny face that makes me laugh uncontrollably. So in the meantime, he will continue getting his formula and rice cereal in a bottle.

Almost 6 months old

Can you believe it!!! Carson will be 6 mos old in 2 days. It seems just like yesterday I was holding his cozy, snug little form against me, and now he's already trying to jump out of my arms. Sad. He's amazing. He's so perfect. I truly believe GOD sent him to me. I never even thought I'd have a son. Never imagined myself mothering a real-live man-in-the-making. Well he has his 6 mos appt this week. Can't wait for that. I think. Everytime we go in for a weight check, it seems he's always somewhere between 90-95% percentile for weight and height. That just means he's growing, and he's big... perfectly healthy. Bring on the chubs!

Well after much dinking around, I think I got this site figured out. Your probably still use to the other site I was using for carson but since its all filled up, I thought I would just start using this one to post all of his information. The other site is still good, I just won't use it for updates or pictures or anything.
