2 year CheckUP!!!!

So carson had his 2 yr regular chkup /w his pediatrician Dr Papiez....it was pretty short and sweet..it wasnt that short...we were there for a couple hours. HAHA!!!! Carson is doing just fine, health & developmental wise. He'g, and he's long. I dont remember what the measurements were. I want to say 36'' long and maybe 32 lbs...I swear he's heavier than that.

He had 3 shots. 2 in the thigh and then a flut shot mist that they sprayed up in his lil nostrils. That was very quick, then the two in his thigh..i feel terrible, he kept looking at me holding his thigh and saying owie, owie...porry baby...

I took a few pictures on my phone of him sitting on the table waiting for the doctor to come in. He doesnt have another appt til 3 and I think no more shots till he's 4...I think..hopefully by 3 he will be fully potty trained and saying all sorts words....

First Dental Appointment... 10/20/10

So carson had his very first DENTAL appointment. He prob should have gone to a dentist when he turned 1, but didnt really see it necessary... Carson has a gap in the front, and basically the dentist said its cause he has 1 extra tooth, and he's had it the whole time...he said its not a concern right now, but may need to be pulled out in a few years..

Carson didnt want to lay down on the bed. Their office was pretty neat. The had tv's on the ceilings, and they were all on cartoons. Carson was a lil scared so I made him lay down and I held his arms down. There was also headphones that he could put on to listen to the tv but he kept taking em off.

Well thats it for the dental appt. Carson got a real cool little to go baggie w/ a new toothbrush, toothpaste, stickers and then he got to pick out a really cool toy.

Another Year, another BIRTHDAY..... CARSON is 2!

I meant to write a 2nd BIRTHDAY POST the evening of his birthday, but couldnt exactly find the time as his auntie melissa and cousin Zoe stayed the night w/ us, so we were all busy hanging out at home, and talking, watching movies, and playing w/ all of carson's new toys. Carson got all kinds of clothes from me (mommy). He's really into bikes, so his daddy got him his very first little tricycle. It's so cute and small, and carson is great on it. He uses the pedals perfectly and knows how to go backwards and eveything. I did get him a pretty nifty handy manny tool box toy, and then another lil toy. His friends Timmy, Toby, Ryker, Trey, Kason, were all there to help celebrate and eat cake. His cousins Zoe, Ashlynne, and Mckinley were also there to help join in the fun. Both Papa's were there, and then Gma Angie. Papa Bettis and Grma Angie did an excellent job on the Pulled Pork sandwhiches this year again. 2nd time in a row, and it just gets better. I love that stuff!!! There were a lot of compliments on how good the food was.

The morning of his birthday was quite chaotic. Me, Melissa, Zoe and Carson were all running around getting everything that we still needed to get and then transporting this and that to the park. Everyone was such a big help. We decided to take carson to his daddys house that morn. It's much easier getting things done w/o the 2yr old to haul around. :) I love that boy, but it was a lot smoother after we dropped him off. Love you Carson!!! :) :)

We finally got to the park and I was worried cause I didn't go in the morning and put up a reserved sign like I had planned on, so I was worried that we weren't going to have a "designated" birthday spot. But everything just sorta fell into place when we arrived at about 230. The party started at 4, and people showed up a lil after that. The clouds were coming out, and making the sky turn very gray. The BSU game was going to start at 6pm, so we decided to really hussle thru everything. So we quickly ate, sang happy birthday, ate cake, opened presents, and then chatted w/ everyone, and then we cleaned up and left at about 6:00.

Auntie Melissa and papa Wally watched carson play on all the slides, and ramps and everything while me and mike got busy on putting decor up, and arranging stuff. All in all, it was a great birthday. I cant believe its already over....it seems like I"ve been planning this birthday for so long, and then it all happens in 1 day...his birthday def is more than just 1 day.

Also forgot to mention, that Friday Oct 15th, 2010 was his ACTUAL birthday. So me, melissa, papa wally, and cousin Zoe took carson out for his birthday dinner and we went to Smokey Mountain for some good food. We got the entire back room to our selves which was nice and quiet back there, and carson could run around and burn off his energy he was running so high on. :) We sang him a lil birthday song, and then I brought along a little blue mini cupcake from Walmart and he devoured it. The waiter was really nice. Always checking up on us making sure everything was good. He even sang along w/ us.


Now for the 3rd birthday coming up.....I"m thinkin either Pirates, airplanes, or trains.....or bikes! HAHAH!!!! WIll post pics soon.

1 WEEK FROM TODAY=1 YEAR OLDER

Carson's 2nd birthday is exactly a week away from today-----already!!!! I feel like we just had his first one. Only things left we need to do is buy the food and cake, and thats it. I'm excited also that it looks like the weather might work in our favor...it will be a lil cold, buts its suppose to be sunny,so hopefully the Sun is shining directly above us and keep us warm. We went w/ Granpda wally last weekend and papa bought him a cute lil orangeATV powerwheel thing, carson loves it. Then his daddy bought him his very first bike. It's still in the box cause I'm going to wrap it up...carson has been looking at it all week long, he wants to play w/ it so badly...

Tomor is another big day...we are going to the Smartypants consignment sale in boise,and then its off to papa's house again to open a couple packages we got in the mail, papa tells me that he is charging the battery for the ATV so carson can ride around on it for awhile...

The crud bug...

Well I think it actually started couple nights ago, carsons pillow had a really sour puke smell but I didnt see anything, and his pillow was just really wet...so then we find out that a couple of kids have gotten sick and have puked. Well I couldnt sleep last night cause carson kept waking up and was rolling around, and then finally he just sat up in bed and was really crying, and sounding sad....so I got up and turned the lights on, and sure enough...there was puke all over his blankie, and my blanket and his pillow....poor babes, he thought he was in trouble. So i started a warm bath, let him sit in there while I cleaned up the mess in the room, and then I wrapped him up in my big softy robe, and he loved that. He was probably laughing all inside that he was getting snuggled and held nat 2am in the morning.

So carson and I stayed home today. We did go to the store to get some groceries and then we also got him some stuff to drink....he is playing around, so hopefully the worst is over...I could use some extra sleep tonight so I can work a long day tomor to make up for today, and get some much needed work done.

Little Bunny neighbor

So a few weeks ago, the little girl that lives across the "yard" from me, introduced me to their new little pet....and its soo cute, that I had to take pictures of it when I saw it again a few days later just hopping around in the yard eating some grass....carson was impressed by it. He kept looking at it and pointing. So funny.

Potty time at daycare...

This made me soo proud, that I MUST write about it. Carol our daycare lady said that Carson told her that he had to go "potty" and go "poopy", so she said ok, and then was talking to the neighbor outside and she turned around and he was gone. So she went back to the bathroom to check on him, and he had taken off his diaper, he put the little seat on top of the big toilet and he sat himself on it. She didnt mention if he actually went but I am so proud of my little boy. I am so lucky he's mine. Thank you GOD!

BSU GAME DAY/PHOTO

We went to Uncle Steve & Aunt Cindy's house for the BSU GAME on Labor Day last Monday and we always have a lot of fun there watching the game, and visiting w/ everyone, and eating great snack food. Carson loves going there cause theres so much room to play around. Here is a picture of Carson. This is his future BSU football photo. It truly is the most perfect picture the way that he is standing in his lil jersey and holding the football, just like any quarterback would..Enjoy!

Weekend of New Babies...

Carson and I had a great Saturday today. We got to go see 2 new babies. We first got to see my friend Shelley's baby. He is 6weeks old, and his name is Braxton. So we spent a couple hours w/ them today. Then afterwards, we went and saw Carson's lil cousin Brayden who is just 5 days old. Both babies are cute, and have dark hair...carson points at everything, and everyone and says baby...so we went and saw a couple today...and it is always a lot of fun holding and watching a new baby. Carson is worn out from playing today. Birthday # 2 is right around the corner, and we are getting excited in this house for it. Here are a couple pics from the babies we visited today...

HOUSE!! (17546 W Silk Ave..nampa)

I wish this house was mine. It's been on the market for a lil over a year now. It's beautiful inside and out. The exterior colors are great!! The yard hasn't been maintained since this house has been vacant which is a huge disappointment, and the overall size of the yard is not big at all, which would be a bummer for C man. There's also no fence!! My great friend Krystal's husband is very crafty, and knows how to make a yard look good...he just re-did their landscaping, and I give it an A++. Sooooo, I'm sure I could pay him to do mine....I hope this house doesnt sell yet, cause I it would DEF want to buy it...of course I took a couple pics...I took the pic from inside my car, so theres about half a house in each pic...lol Its only $104k...not bad...for almost 2000 sq ft.

Shopping w/ good friend Sachi, Tate, kaiah and carson...

Yesterday, me and carson introduced my good friend Sachi and her two kids to KIDZ AGAIN and KID2KID...we had a blast together shopping and spendy money. We enjoyed a great lunch at SmashBurger too....we both got some pretty good things. Carson and I even picked up a few things for his new lil cousin that is due anytime. After we took Sachi and her two kids home where they live in Star, we went and picked up daddy and we headed back to boise to go to the mall where I bought this awesome lil Columbia jacket for carson. It will be one of his birthday presents this year. I decided to get a 3T so he could wear it longer. I had him try on the 2T and it fit just perfectly. It's really nice. Too bad there wasn't one in my size. It's perfect for spring weather, cause its not that heavy. I still have his brand new lime green and dark grey jacket that he got from his first birthday last year. It was a gift from his auntie Melissa, Gramma Dot, and Great gramma Dixie. It's an 18months size, and its way to big on him.
Speaking of birthdays...munchkin boy has his 2nd one right around the corner. I best be gettin that organzized. I have to find a place that could hold approx 30 people. And were still doing the Robot theme.. It should be a fun time!!! More updates to come.

Day with Gramma Dot!!!

So yesterday Friday August 13th, 2010 Carson got to spend the whole entire day w/ gramma Dot so I could go to work. She said he was a very good boy. They played hard. They had lunch at Denny's and Carson said Hi and Bye to every person walking by. He ate all his grapes and more than half of his mac&cheese. After lunch, they went to Lakeview Park and played on the slides. Gramma says it was pretty funny to see Carson go down the bumpy slide cause half way down from all the static electricity, Carson's hair would stick straight up and then we he got down it would go back down. Gramma says he got very dirty and was running around and playing and being silly. He had two naps, and was just a very good boy. This mommy is very proud!!

Carson and Trey=brothers for life

I just know it in my heart of hearts that Carson has a best friend for life...His name is Trey Evans Johnson....and his daddy BJ is Carsons daddy's best friend. Here thye are, playing in the pool...Trey looves the water and being in it, too bad I cant say that for carson. He was such a whiny little baby. Owell, here are some photos of them playing together. Carson goes to work....

So on a recent Friday, I had mike and Carson come meet me at work for a BBQ lunch on the patio at Blue Cross. I brought carson into the office that I work in so all the ladies could see him, and he could charm their socks off. Well I decided to take him to my desk so he could sit on my chair and play "office". He enjoyed it, and I did too as I look back on these pictures I have. He's looks so grown up like he could teach me some things.... I LOVE CARSON BETTIS!!! :)

Day off from Work/Daycare!!! That could only mean....

So we our daycare lady Carol took the day off to go work at the Jail bond election, so I took the day off to watch C man. So it was a day off for both of us. We decided to make the most of it, and hang out w/ daddy as he is in town this week also. We had amazing lunch at Idaho Pizza Company. The salad bar is scrumptious. The bread stick was divine, and the pizza was even more delicious. Carson started nibbling off my plate eating every single piece of ham and peas he could find. :( I love eating ham w/ my salad. Anyway, then he decided he rather just have momma's plate directly in front of him so its easier to grab things, so thats what we ended up doing. He ate a lot of salad and then lots of bites of cheese pizza. After wards, we made our way to Monkey Bizness, we havent been there in a while so we went and we got to play in a different play room, which is nice. It's all the same things, just on the opposite side of the room, so it made it look different. I got just a picture as Carson was busy on everything. Him and daddy went down the big slide together 2x. Carson loves it. We were going to go to Albertson's park so Carson could go chase some ducks, but we ran out of time. Daddy had a softball game that started at 6 and by the time we left Boise it was a little after 3, and the traffic would have been pretty ugly close to 4 or 5 pm. So we decided to get a head start on the road. Carson took a long nap from all the eating good, and running around and playing on all the climbing structures. Now he's awake and were waiting for daddy to get home from his game so that we can eat some dinner and chill out for the rest of the evening. Its off to work I go tomor. It's wednesday so its half way thru the week, almost to the weekend. I have my 10 yr high school reunion this Saturday at Kiwanas's Park in payette. I'm kinda looking forward to it, but then again..I'm not, as I've seen pretty much everyone either out and about or online. I dont think people really change that much. Most people have gone on to do great things, and have started families of their own. Even tho I haven't traveled as much as I've wanted, I have Carson to compliment this part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is the best, and so for that, I have the best life. I love him. Until next time...

20 months is HOW OLD????

Well I am writing this while sitting at my desk at work. (dont tell boss woman). Im sitting here thinking that carson is 20months old TODAY!!! I cannot believe it. I say all the time that time flies, and it just keeps on flying faster and faster by the minute. I am so proud of my little man on all his accomplishments. He is so beautiful, and amazing. I love to just sit and watch him do everything. He finds so much delight in the simplest things. His expressions and the way he runs and looks at you, and waits for you to say something about how great he ran just surpasses my giddyness for him. He is learning so much.
He is on the mend from his earache...he HAS NOT been the most cooperative lil boy when getting his bubble gum flavored medicine, but who wouldn't? And I feel like such a mean ole' mommy afterwards, that I use that as my excuse to give him extra kisses. I will post some recent park pictures from the last couple weekends. Next weekend on 06/21/10 is Fathers day, so he will be spending the weekend w/ his daddy, and I hear...that some fun stuff may be planned for him and his daddy. :) More later.

First crappy Earache!

Carson has finally, (and I don't mean that excitingly) got his first ever earache. He was at the ball field all day yesterday watching his daddy play his games, and it was really hot outside and a lil windy. He wouldnt eat anything, and he only drank some. He had plenty of sun screen on. Decided to take him into the ER at about 930pm, cause he was very very fussy. So the doc said that its definitely an earache cause of the coloration in his ear, it was really red inside. He had a fever and my poor lil guy was just not happy. So we got a prescription for some Amoxycillian and doc said he will be on that for a week, and it should clear up in a few days. THANK GOD! These are rough times for this mommy. I hate when my poor baby feels ill, and is not being himself. :(



Few other things have happened since now and the last post, but I will have to get to those updates on another day. Next weekend 6.20.2010 is Fathers day, and I will be taking carson's gpa (my daddy) on a train ride. It will be the first train ride for the both of us. Should be lots of fun. I cant wait. Tickets were pretty cheap, and there serving food as well. It starts in Horseshoe Bend and lasts about 3 hours or so. I will be taking lots of pictures and video to remember this adventure. I wish that I were taking Carson w/ me, but he will be w/ his daddy on Fathers Day. Well got to get some stuff done around here, better quit playing now. More later.

Shots, Monkey Bizness...and other things.

Carson had his 16 month checkup this past week. He had lost a little bit of weight cause he's been runnin around, and walkin, so that was ok. He weighs about 26lbs. I remember I weighed him myself right before he turned 1, and he was almost 30lbs. I think the doc said he's 33inc long. He will be tall and stalky. Which is just perfect. His doc said to bring him back in about a month to look at his ears again, cause they looked really stuffy from the sickness he's had. He had 4 shots;2 in each thigh. He DID NOT enjoy that. He got the H1N1 too. So hopefully he wont ever get the swine flu. I dont know what I would do if he got sick that bad. Poor babes. Other than that, he is a perfect little boy.

Today, me and Krystal are taking the boys to Monkey Bizness to play around and go down some slides, it should be some real fun. Carson hasnt been there, and so I know he will just be thrilled to see this place.

Finally got a bed, its beautiful!!!! I just have to find a top mattress for it, so I dont have to sleep on the box spring. It's kinda hard. I think its more uncomfortable than the floor was. :) Or maybe the same. :)

Changes...

Think its time to update this. I think the last time you heard from me and munchkin boy was around his 1st Birthday party. So many changes have occurred since then. Mostly good. I will try to explain our absence from bloggerworld in as much detail as I can remember. So sit back, cause this is one looong story.
First of all, I might say that it's given me such joy to watch Carson grow and learn everyday. His first birthday party was the most funnest party I've been to. I stopped to think back to the day he was born, and how fragile he was and how careful i had to be, and the few sleepless nights I had, but really it was all preparation for how he is today. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like it. I would gladly do it all over again. He wasn't walking yet at his birthday. He was talking alot but not quite how he talks to me now. Now he walks, and walks real fast. Sometimes he gets going so fast, it looks like he's running, then he ends up tripping over himself and its cute to see him get up and do it again w/ a huge grin on his face.

Let's see, we got our own quaint little place in the country. I was very fortunate to find such an awesome little house for him and I. It's small, but oh so perfect for C and I. I will DEFINITELYpost some pictures. We just recently got a couch so its not empty looking anymore. Now I'm just looking for a nice bed. Big enough for C and I when he sleeps with me. I'm trying to limit the amount of those nights. TRUST ME! I guess I forgot to mention that I wouldn't have been able to get this little place w/o getting a job first. I actually started back in Nov 2009. November, 11th 2009 to be exact. I got a temporary position at Blue Cross. I enjoy it so very much. I'm hoping they keep me on perm.I get paid good, schedule is awesome, and I know the benefits will be good as well. We will see what happens.

Lets see, we had a good Thanksgiving and Christmas. Don't have too many pictures. We were just to busy feeding our faces with yummy turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegi's, and sweet potatoes. Which are a favorite of C's and mine. He got some cool presents for Christmas. Toys, clothes, books. It was a joy to spend the important holidays with him.

I guess that brings us to more recent days now. He has been sorta sick lately. He was real sick then he got better, and now I think part of it has decided to hang around for a lil while longer. He had a temp of 104.5 was the highest it got. Thats scary stuff. He woulndt eat or anything. Poor baby, he just wanted to snuggle all day in his blankie. I DEF gave into that w/o thinking twice. He has a crappy cough. Then we went to see a doctor and he did a urine test, and it was so sad that I had to leave the room for that. I felt bad for leaving my honey buns but I knew the nurses were taking good care of him. As of writing this, he still has a croupy cough, but he is back to eating like there is no tomor. He's running and playing a lot. All good signs.

We had some pictures done by a lovely girl, who did a great job. I should have those in a few days. Carson didn't like to sit and pose so hopefully she got some of him just being a boy and being silly. We went outside and took some, he just wanted to run around and dodge us. So we will be doing another photoshoot in the next week or two. This time we will be going to a park or a playground. We did get one of him w/ no shirt on wearing a tie and a hat sitting on an old briefcase. That one will DEFINITELY be cute. He's cute anyway. :)

Well this momma is going to partake in a mom/sisters/daughters weekend March 19th-21st. Going to Portland to see my sisters. I'm driving up their w/ my momma. Friday night were going to a creep show. It's actually an underground tour of the city. It's also rumored to be haunted. Then, on Saturday were going to a dance team competition. Were also going to get matching tattoes. I know I am getting one of the date on the top of my foot. Just havent thought of a cool design yet. I think the date is important. It's not too often that we get to spend this kind of time w/ each other so I think doing something to symbolize our time together is important. Why not permanent ink, eh??!?! :)
